Metal Care

We've been at No. 6A, Lokenath Bose Garden Lane for a while now. Most people know us as Metal Care. It’s just a small place where we handle metal work and maintenance. It gets a bit loud sometimes with the machines going, but that's just how the job is. The lane is usually busy, so finding a spot to park isn't always easy, but we make it work. We started out just doing a few repairs here and there for neighbors and local shops, and slowly it turned into a full-time thing. The workshop has some old tools and some newer ones we picked up along the way. We don't really have a fancy office or anything like that. Usually, you'll find us out back with grease on our hands or maybe sitting near the door if it's a quiet morning. We try to keep things organized, though stuff tends to pile up when we have a big project going on. People come by when their gates are rusting or they need something welded together. We just take the jobs as they come. Sometimes we stay late if a part is being stubborn. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we do every day. Most of our tools have been with us for years and they still do the job just fine. If you walk down Lokenath Bose Garden Lane, you'll probably hear us before you see us. We don't spend much time on the computer, we'd rather be working.
