Manjushree Plantations Ltd.

Manjushree Plantations is set up on the first floor of Industry House, over at 10 Camac Street. This is a pretty central spot in Kolkata, so there’s always a lot going on around us. We deal with plantation management and all the logistics that come with it. Even though Camac Street can be quite fancy, our office is pretty down-to-earth. We have a lot of paperwork related to the estates we manage. It’s a lot of back-and-forth communication with the people on the ground at the plantations. We don't use a lot of flashy words to describe what we do. It’s basically about making sure the tea or whatever we are growing is healthy and getting processed correctly. Our staff has been around for a long time, and we mostly just focus on the daily tasks. We don’t have a big PR department. If you call us, you’ll likely talk to one of us directly, not some automated system. We try to keep things simple and efficient. The office is often full of the smell of samples we’ve brought in. It’s a bit of a mix of city life and rural business. We appreciate the convenience of being in the middle of the city for meetings and bank work. It’s a solid, old-school way of doing business, and we like it that way. We don't need a lot of bells and whistles to get the work done right.
