Mallick Enterprise

Mallick Enterprise is tucked away at Gb70 in the East Kolkata Township Project. If you know the area, you know it’s been growing fast lately. There is always some construction going on nearby, so there is usually the sound of hammers or cement mixers in the background. Our office is a simple room where we handle the day-to-day business. It’s not a large corporation with a lobby or a receptionist. Usually, it's just one or two of us handling the phones and the paperwork. We started out here when the project was much smaller. The East Kolkata Township has a specific feel to it, a bit separate from the main city rush but still busy in its own way. We keep a few files on the shelves and a computer that’s seen better days. We don't try to impress anyone with a sleek look. It’s a workplace, plain and simple. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour, and we just sit outside and wait for it to come back on. We handle different types of supplies and general enterprise work, whatever needs doing that day. It's a modest setup at Gb70. We like the fact that we can walk to most places nearby. The neighborhood is full of people just trying to build something for themselves, and we are just another part of that local effort for the community.
