We are located at 8C 4Th Floor, Room No. 17 on Maharshi Debendra Road. If you know Burrabazar, you know it’s one of the busiest places you can find. Kanu Iron Steel is right in the middle of all that chaos. Getting up to the 4th floor can be a bit of a climb, especially when the elevator is acting up or the stairs are crowded with people carrying loads, but it’s where we do our business. The room isn't very big, and it’s filled with papers and metal samples. Outside on Maharshi Debendra Road, there are always trucks and people moving things. The noise never really stops. We deal with iron and steel, which is heavy, practical work. There isn't much room for being fancy in this industry. We talk to suppliers, we take orders, and we make sure the metal gets where it needs to go. We’ve been in Burrabazar for quite a while, so we’ve seen how the market moves and changes. It’s a tough place to work sometimes because of the heat and the crowds, but it’s our home. We don’t have a corporate office with a view of the river. We have a small room on the 4th floor where we work hard every day. It’s honest work, and we just keep at it because that’s what we know how to do. Sometimes the tea man comes by and that is the best part of the afternoon.
