M C Enterprises

Our place is located right on Kalighat Road at number 289/A. It’s not far from the Kali Temple, which is the main landmark everyone uses to find us. This part of Kalighat is always crowded and full of life, especially when there are festivals or special prayer days. Our shop is just a regular room where we do our business every day of the week. It’s not a very large space, but it fits our desks and the supplies we need to keep things moving. M C Enterprises has been part of this street for a long time now. We open up the doors early and stay until the evening rush starts to slow down a little. You can hear the temple bells ringing throughout the day if the wind is blowing in the right direction. We deal with whatever trade comes our way, mostly just regular office and business supplies. The walls could definitely use a fresh coat of paint, but we've stayed too busy with work to actually get around to doing it. It’s dusty work sometimes because of the open door and the street traffic. We know most of the people who work in the nearby shops and the man who sells tea on the corner. There's no corporate hierarchy here, just a few of us working at the desks and making sure the orders are filled. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Kolkata, just a steady one that people can rely on. We just do our work.
