Lila Art Saloon

Lila Art Saloon is located on Belgachia Road in the Belgachia area. The address is Kolkata 700037. It is not a very big shop, just enough space for two or three people to get their hair done at once. I call it Lila Art Saloon, but we don't do much art. Just regular haircuts. I have lived in this part of Kolkata my whole life. The shop has been here for about ten years. Before that, it was a small tea stall. I changed it over because I knew how to cut hair. The front door stays open most of the time to let the air in. It gets very stuffy inside during the summer. We have a small television in the corner, but it doesn't work very well. Usually, it just shows static, so we keep it turned off. Most of our customers are neighbors who live in the buildings nearby. They come in every few weeks for a trim. We know all of them by name. It is nice having a business where you know everyone. Belgachia Road is always full of traffic, so there is a lot of dust. I have to wipe the mirrors down several times a day. We aren't trying to be anything special. Just a place for a decent haircut at a fair price. It is a modest shop and we are happy with how things are going.
