Kumar Steel Trading

Kumar Steel Trading is at 146, Mata Manmohnini Nagar in the Bonhooghly area. It is a basic setup where we buy and sell steel products. We don’t have a fancy showroom with lights and displays. It is more of a practical warehouse with a concrete floor and a small desk for our paperwork. The neighborhood is a bit quieter than the central parts of the city, which makes it easier for the trucks to come and go. We spend the day checking the steel that arrives and organizing it so we can find things quickly. There is a lot of manual labor involved in moving the metal around, and it can get quite dusty inside. We keep all our records in a simple ledger book because that is how we have always done it. We don't have any big corporate goals or anything like that. We just focus on trading steel and making sure the inventory is correct. Sometimes we stay a bit late if a delivery is delayed, but usually, we close up at a regular time. Most of our customers are locals or builders who have known us for years. We usually take our breaks at the small tea shop down the road. It’s not a glamorous business, but it keeps us busy and we like the routine of it. We just provide the steel people need without making things more complicated than they have to be.
