Kshetrapal Farmer Producer Company Limited

Our little outfit is called Kshetrapal Farmer Producer Company Limited, and we are set up over in Parchandrahat. That’s in the Parulia area, near Mollarpur. We use Bhagyadhar Saha’s place as our main point of contact. If you live around here, you know it’s mostly just farms and quiet roads. We aren't trying to be anything big or famous. We just want to get our farming business sorted for the long run. There are plenty of us who have been working the soil here for years. It made sense to put our names down together. We deal with whatever the season brings, whether it’s the heavy rains or the dry spells. The office is just a simple room where we keep our books and talk about seeds and prices. Sometimes it’s a bit disorganized, but we get the work done eventually. It’s not like those big city offices with computers and fancy lights. We prefer the fresh air anyway. We’ve known each other since we were kids, so there isn't much formality between us. You’ll find us talking about the latest harvest or what’s happening at the local market. It’s a long way from the main highway, but it’s our home. We just take things one day at a time and do the best we can. If you’re passing through the village, you might see some of us hanging around outside after the sun goes down.
