It is not a corporate building. It is just Basudev’s place where we gather to talk and plan. We spend most of our days out on the land but this is where the company stuff happens. 24 Parganas (N) has a lot of people doing the same kind of work, so we decided to make it official with Kkrishij. It’s pretty informal. You might find some of us sitting on the porch or in the yard discussing the season. We don't use big words or have complicated meetings. We just talk about the soil, the seeds, and what needs to be done next. Noapara is a quiet enough place for this. If you need us, it is best to ask for Basudev Ghosh's house. Most people around Madanpur know where it is. We are just a group of local people trying to make a go of it together without making things too complicated. It takes a lot of time to get everything right, but we are patient. We are just simple people trying to do right by our families and the land here.
