Kisanuttaran Bioplants is situated over in Netra, which is in the Bhangar-I area of South 24 Parganas. If you look at the land records, we are at Dag No 643. It’s a bit of a trek from the main road, near the Canning police station area. We focus on bioplants, which means we spend a lot of our time looking at saplings and soil. The office is right there on the site because that’s where the work is. We aren't a corporate giant; we are just a local company trying to grow things that work for our environment. Netra is a place where agriculture is the main thing people do. We have our hands in the dirt most of the time. The paperwork gets done when we have a moment to sit down in the small office area. It’s a simple building without much decoration. We started this because we wanted to have a steady place for bioplant work in this part of West Bengal. Sometimes the heat makes the work slow, and other times we are rushing to get things ready for the planting season. It’s a lot of trial and error, like any kind of farming or plant work. We keep our notes, watch the plants grow, and handle the business as best as we can. It’s practical, hard work, and we just keep at it every day in South 24 Parganas, making sure the plants get what they need to thrive.
