Agni Ganga Seeds

Down at No. 12 Khetra Das Lane, you have to head up to the 1st floor to find us. Agni Ganga Seeds has been operating out of this small space for quite some time. It is a narrow lane, so getting things in and out can be a bit of a struggle if the traffic is bad. We spend our days surrounded by bags of seeds. The air always smells a bit like dried grain and earth. We don't have a lot of space for fancy furniture, so it’s mostly just desks and storage racks. Most of our work involves talking to the farmers who come in from outside the city to get their supplies for the next planting season. We check the stock, weigh things out, and make sure the labels are correct. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it needs to be done right. The 1st floor gets a bit of a breeze if we keep the windows open, which helps with the dust. We are just a small group of people doing a basic job. There is no corporate ladder here. We just know which seeds are good for which soil and we tell people the truth about what we have. Sometimes we run out of the popular stuff and have to wait for the next shipment. It’s just how it goes in the seed business. We stay open until the last customer leaves.
