Kaveri Maheshwari

Kaveri Maheshwari is located at 57 B, Raja Dinendra Street, which is quite close to the Idbi Bank. Having the bank nearby is handy because it’s a landmark everyone knows in this part of Kolkata. The 700004 area is usually quite crowded, and Raja Dinendra Street has its own specific energy. The space at 57 B is just a regular room where we do our teaching. It’s not a large facility, so it feels quite cozy when we are all sitting there working. We have some old shelves filled with books and various papers that have accumulated over time. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it doesn't really matter when we are busy with the lessons. You can hear the sounds of the bank and the street traffic throughout the day, which becomes a sort of background noise we don't even notice anymore. It is just a straightforward place for learning. We don’t have a website or a big social media presence. We just show up, open the door, and get to work. Most of the time is spent reading through texts or writing on a small board. It’s a very simple, honest way to earn a living. Being near Idbi Bank makes it easy for people to stop by and ask about what we do. It’s just a small, local setup run by Kaveri Maheshwari. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the piles of books just take over the room and we just deal with it.
