You can find us at No. 99/2-d Kabi Sukanta Sarani in Belaghata. It’s a busy part of the city, especially in the mornings when the market nearby is in full swing. Jgb Agrofresh has been here for a few years now. The space is mostly used for coordinating our deliveries and keeping track of our supplies. It’s a bit of a maze of crates and desks. We try to keep it organized, but when things are moving fast, it gets a bit cluttered. The smell of fresh produce is usually in the air, which isn't a bad thing. We have a small team, maybe six or seven of us on a regular day. We don't have a big sign outside, just the number on the gate. Belaghata is a good place to be for this kind of work because it’s well-connected. We spend a lot of time on the phone with farmers and transport guys. It’s not a glamorous job. There’s a lot of shouting and rushing around to meet deadlines. We eat our lunch together at a big table in the back. It’s usually just dal and rice. The office gets quite hot in the summer, even with the fans going full blast. We just drink more water and keep moving. It’s a practical business. We deal with real products and real people every single day. No fluff, just work.
