Our office is located at 16 Motijheel Avenue, inside the Divine Apartment building. We are up on the 4th floor in unit 5D. This part of Kolkata has its own rhythm, and being situated here for Jsw Steel Ltd. allows us to stay close to our local clients. The building is a typical apartment block with a mix of offices and homes. Getting up to the fourth floor usually means a short wait for the lift, but it’s a good spot once you’re inside. We handle the local distribution and sales tracking for the steel products in this region. The office itself is pretty plain. We have the usual computers and some old-fashioned paper files because some things are just easier to track that way. The street outside, Motijheel Avenue, can get pretty loud with the local traffic, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We spend most of our time coordinating with the warehouse and making sure the deliveries are on track. It is a lot of back-and-forth communication. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy lobby. We just have a team of people who know their way around the steel business and want to do a decent job.
