Our office and yard are located at 20, B.T. Road. If you know this road, you know how busy it gets with trucks and buses at all hours of the day. It is a loud place to work, but it keeps us on our toes. We handle quite a bit of iron and steel here. The gate is right on the main road, so getting the trailers in and out can be a bit of a trick with the traffic. Inside, the yard is filled with stacks of metal. It’s not the most organized-looking place, but we know where everything is. We have a small office at the front where we do the billing and talk to customers. It’s an old building, and the ceiling fan usually makes a clicking sound. We have a few workers who have been with us since Jsis Iron & Steel started up. We don't really do much marketing. Most people just see our sign on the road or hear about us from others in the trade. The dust from the road is a constant battle, so everything has a thin layer of grey on it. We just keep working through the day. Sometimes the rain stops everything, and we just sit and wait under the tin roof for it to pass. It is a basic, honest way to make a living. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just move steel.
