Our place is located at 22, Rabindra Sarani, specifically units G 45 and 46 in Trietta Bazar. If you’ve ever been to this part of the city, you know how crowded and lively it gets. It’s an old market area, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. We deal with steel, so our shop is full of heavy metal rods, sheets, and tubes. It’s a noisy business, especially when things are being moved around or loaded onto trucks. The walls are a bit worn down, and the floor is scarred from all the heavy lifting over the years. We spend most of our time talking to vendors and checking the inventory. It’s a lot of physical work, and we’re usually tired by the time we close up. The tea sellers in the bazar keep us going throughout the day. We don't have a website or do much marketing. Most people know us just from being here in the market. We see a lot of regular customers who have been coming to us for their steel needs for decades. Sometimes the monsoon makes the streets around here difficult to navigate, but the market never really stops. We just pull the shutters down a bit and keep working inside. It’s a gritty, honest way to make a living, and we’re used to the pace of life here at Trietta Bazar. It is just how things are done in Kolkata.
