Jindal

Our place is over on Keyatola Road in Kolkata. It is on the first floor at number 5. It is a decent area, though parking can be a real headache if you are coming by car during the busy hours. We go by Jindal, and we have been operating out of this spot for a good bit of time. Kolkata is always moving fast, and we try to keep up with it as best as we can. Inside the office, it is just a regular space with desks and papers everywhere. We do not really go for that modern, sleek look you see in the new glass buildings. It is more comfortable this way. The tea guy comes around twice a day and that is usually the highlight of the afternoon for most of us. We handle various bits of business from here. Sometimes it is quiet, other times everyone is talking over each other on the phone. That is just how it goes in a small office. We do not have a big lobby or a receptionist in a suit. You just walk in and talk to whoever is free at their desk. We know the neighbors pretty well by now. It feels like a small community even though it is a big city. We just do our work, talk to our regulars, and try to get things right. Life at Jindal isn't complicated. We just focus on what needs doing today.
