Jindal Udyog Ltd

Our place is at 3/2B, right near that big B B Ganguly and Bowbazar crossing. It’s a lively area, to say the least. Jindal Udyog Ltd is tucked away here on College St. If you know Bowbazar, you know how crowded it gets with the shops and the students and the traffic. We’ve been here for a good while. The office is pretty basic. We spend most of the day dealing with various industrial supplies and metal-related bits. It’s dusty sometimes because of all the construction and the traffic outside, but we’re used to it. We don't have a big sign or anything. People usually find us because they’ve been coming here for years or they know the area well. It’s a lot of manual work, checking lists, and making sure the trucks can actually get close enough to load things. Sometimes the narrow streets make that a real headache. We work long hours, especially when things get busy toward the end of the month. It’s not glamorous work, but it’s what we do. We have our lunch together and talk about the neighborhood. You see all sorts of people walking by the College St side. It's a real mix of old and new around here. We just try to keep up with the pace and get our orders out on time without too much fuss.
