Jindal Stainless Limited

Our place is over at 229 D, Daspara Road in Kolkata. It’s right on James Long Sarani in the Thakurpukur area. If you know that part of town, you know it stays pretty busy with all the traffic heading toward the south. We operate as Jindal Stainless Limited from here. It’s not a shiny corporate tower. It’s just a practical building where we manage the steel business for the region. We deal with everything from small local requests to bigger industrial orders. The office has that old Kolkata feel to it—high ceilings and a lot of activity. We don't use much fancy language when we talk to our customers. We just tell them what’s in stock and when it can get delivered. The rain in Thakurpukur can be a bit much sometimes, but we don’t let it stop the work. Most of us have been working here for years, so we know the routine. James Long Sarani is a major landmark, so people don’t usually have trouble finding us once they get to Daspara Road. We’ve got a small team here who just keeps their heads down and works. There aren't any big motivational posters on the walls. We just care about getting the stainless steel orders right and making sure the deliveries are on time. It’s a local business vibe even though the name on the door is a big one. We just get on with things.
