Bkd Fabricators is up on the second floor at No. 79 New Jessore Road in Ganganagar. It’s a busy area, and being on the second floor means we get a bit of a view of the traffic below. We do fabrication work, which is noisy and involves a lot of tools. The workshop has that smell of cut metal and welding. It’s not a place for clean clothes. We’ve been in Ganganagar for years now. People know they have to climb the stairs to find us. We don't have a fancy lift or a bright lobby. It’s just a door with our name on it. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and joining things together. It’s physical work. We have a small area where we sit down to figure out the designs. Sometimes we disagree on how to finish a piece, but we always work it out. The fans have to run all day to keep the air moving. We’re a small crew. We know each other’s families and habits. New Jessore Road is always loud, but that fits with the work we do. We don't do much in the way of advertising. Usually, people just hear about us from someone else who had work done here. It’s a straightforward shop. We just keep our heads down and finish the projects. There's usually some iron scraps in the corner and a radio playing low in the background.
