Jayanta Kr Dey

I am Jayanta Kr Dey and I run things from 67/1 Puba Sinthe Road. This is in the Dum Dum area of Kolkata, specifically 700028. My space is a modest one, just a regular building on a street that gets quite a bit of foot traffic. It is not a modern office building with elevators or anything like that. It is just a place where I can sit down and get my work done. The street outside can be a bit narrow, so when two cars try to pass each other, there is a lot of honking. I have gotten used to that sound over the years. Inside, I keep things pretty organized, even if the building itself is a bit on the older side. There is a small window that lets in some light, but I mostly rely on the overhead lights. I don't have a big team of people working for me. It is mostly just me handling the daily responsibilities. I like the independence of it. The 700028 neighborhood is familiar to me and I know where to get the best tea just a few doors down. My day usually involves a lot of reading and writing, and this spot on Puba Sinthe Road provides enough quiet for that. It is an unassuming place, and I think that suits me just fine. I don't need anything fancy to do a good job, just my desk and some peace and quiet. It’s where I spend most of my time.
