Janaksons International

We are located on the first floor at 2a and 2b Mrigendra Lal Mitra Road. It’s an interesting building with those high ceilings you don’t see much anymore. Janaksons International has occupied these rooms for quite a while. Getting up the stairs can be a bit of a workout if the lift is acting up, which it sometimes does. Once you’re inside, it’s mostly just desks and computers. We handle a lot of paperwork because of the international side of things. There’s always someone on the phone or typing away. It’s a busy atmosphere but not loud. We have a small pantry where we make tea. That’s usually where the real talk happens. Mrigendra Lal Mitra Road is a decent area, though parking is always a headache for anyone visiting. We tell people to just take a rickshaw. The office layout is a bit weird, split between two sections, but we’ve made it work. We have files stacked up in the corners because we never seem to throw anything away. It feels lived-in. We aren’t trying to impress anyone with fancy glass walls or modern art. It’s just an office where we get the job done every day. Most of the staff have been here for a decade at least. We’re a bit of a fixture on this street now. People stop by just to say hello sometimes. We like it that way.
