West Bengal Trading

West Bengal Trading is over at No. 33 Janakalyan Road. If you know the area, you know the road can get a bit cramped when the delivery trucks are trying to get through. Our building is a simple one, and we use most of the space for storage and keeping track of the inventory we move. It’s a lot of manual work, honestly. We spend hours checking boxes and writing down numbers in big ledger books because we still like having things on paper. The office part is just a corner with a couple of old wooden desks and a fan that squeaks a bit when it’s on the high setting. We deal with all sorts of local goods and materials. There isn't much of a polished atmosphere here; it’s mostly just us in our work clothes trying to make sure the orders get loaded correctly. Sometimes we stay late when a shipment is delayed, just sitting around talking and waiting. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything like that. People mostly find us because they’ve been dealing with us for years or they saw our sign while walking down Janakalyan Road. It’s a straightforward business and we don't try to make it seem like something it isn't. We just show up, do the trading work, and try to keep the records straight. It’s a long day usually, but we are used to the rhythm of the place by now and the people who walk by every day.
