Jaiswal Shutter & Sheet Works

Jaiswal Shutter & Sheet Works is located right at Plot No.1. It’s on Raja Ram Mohan Roy Street, which most people around here just call Raja Rammohan Sarani. It’s an old street with a lot of history, but we’re just here to work on shutters and sheets. We’ve been at this spot for quite some time now. The workshop isn't massive, but it fits everything we need. You’ll see a lot of metal sheets leaning against the walls most days. We spend a lot of time measuring and cutting things to size. It’s not the quietest job, especially when we’re hammering out a dent or testing a shutter to see if it rolls right. My hands are usually a bit greasy by the end of the shift. We don't have a big office or a secretary answering phones. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us with a tape measure in hand or working the machines. We try to keep things simple. Dealing with shutters means we see a lot of different problems, but we just figure them out one by one. The street gets pretty crowded in the afternoons, so getting deliveries in can be a bit of a hassle sometimes. But we make it work. It's just what we do here at the shop. No big talk, just getting the sheets ready and the shutters moving. It's been our daily life for years now on this street and we like it.
