Down at 30 Kailash Bose Street, that’s where you will find us. We are right in the middle of Kolkata, in an area that has been around forever. Jain Steel & Power Ltd has its office here, and it feels like a part of the old neighborhood. The building is older, with high ceilings and those thick walls that stay a bit cooler in the summer. It’s not a modern skyscraper, but it suits what we do. We handle a lot of the steel side of things from this desk. Most days are spent dealing with paperwork and talking to suppliers. The street outside is always narrow and crowded with rickshaws and people carrying goods. It’s a bit of a squeeze to get a truck through, but we make it work. We’ve been at this address for quite some time now. You won’t find any big reception area or coffee machines here. We just have our desks, some old fans, and plenty of files. Sometimes we take a break and get tea from the stall at the corner. It’s a very local way of doing business. We know the people around here and they know us. If you need to find us, just look for the number 30. We are usually in from the morning until the sun goes down. It's just honest work in a busy part of the city. There is always a lot of noise from the street, but you get used to it after a while. It’s our second home.
