We are located over at 1, Old Court House Corner, which is a very busy spot right in the middle of Kolkata’s old commercial heart. The office for Indved Overseas Private Limited is specifically in the Tobacco House Annexe. To get to us, you have to head up to the 2nd floor. The building has that classic old-school feel you only find in this part of West Bengal, near the 700001 postal zone. It’s got high ceilings and those heavy doors that have seen a lot of years. Working here means being surrounded by the constant hum of the city and the legal offices nearby. It’s never quiet outside, but once you get into the annexe and up to our floor, things settle down a bit. We spend a lot of time on the phone or handling documents for overseas stuff. The desks are usually piled with papers, and there’s always a fan whirring somewhere in the background to keep the air moving. It isn't a modern glass box; it’s a place with character and history. The tea man downstairs knows most of us by now and brings up small cups throughout the afternoon. Getting to the office in the morning can be a challenge with the traffic around Tobacco House, but there is something nice about being in such a historic part of the city. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations, just the essentials needed to get the work done every day. It’s a practical workspace for a team that stays pretty focused on the tasks at hand.
