Indranil Das

Indranil Das operates out of F/A-1/6, Amraboti, in the Ashiwininagar area of Baguiati. It’s a residential part of Kolkata, so it feels more like a home office than a corporate suite. This is where all the work happens. There isn't a big sign outside or anything like that, just a small nameplate. The neighborhood is fairly quiet, except for the occasional street vendor shouting or children playing nearby. Indranil spends a lot of time at the main desk, which is usually covered in various documents and a half-empty cup of tea. Being in Baguiati, we are close to the main hub, but far enough into Amraboti that it’s peaceful. The office is basically a room with some filing cabinets and a computer that has seen better days. It is a one-man show mostly, though sometimes there is someone else around to help with the filing. People who come here are usually from the local area or have heard about Indranil from a friend. There is no slick marketing here. It is just about sitting down and getting through the work that needs to be done. Whether it is sorting out some personal papers or helping with a small business matter, the process is always the same. It is practical and straightforward. We don't make things more complicated than they need to be. It is just work. That is how we stay busy throughout the year.
