Indo Steels

Indo Steels is located at Clive Row in Kolkata. We are on the ground floor at Room No. 6, number 5/1. Clive Row is a very old and famous part of the city. It’s full of history and old buildings. Our office is a small room that has seen many years of business. It’s a bit cramped with all the files and the desk, but it’s where we do everything. The building has that old Kolkata smell of dust and paper. Being on the ground floor is lucky because we don't have to climb the stairs. Outside, the street is always packed with people and vendors. It is a very busy commercial hub. We deal in steel from this small base. Most of our work is done through the phone or with people who walk in from the street. We don't have any modern glass walls or air conditioning that works all the time. It’s just a basic office for a basic business. We’ve been here for a long time and know the other people in the building. Sometimes we go out for a quick snack at the stalls nearby. The tea here is always good. Running a business in this part of town requires patience because of the crowds. But we are used to it by now. We just handle the steel trade as it comes. It is a steady way to live and work in the heart of the city. Every day brings something a little different even if the room stays the same.
