Indian Commodities

We’ve been set up in Room 28 on the first floor of 10 Tarachandra Dutta Street for quite some time now. It’s an old building, and being on the first floor means we see a lot of different people coming and going throughout the day. Indian Commodities isn't a fancy or modern setup. We mostly spend our hours handling piles of paperwork and talking to various suppliers on the phone. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy outside with the traffic and the shouting, but that’s just the way the neighborhood is. We deal with various goods that people need for their own businesses, and we try to keep things moving as smoothly as possible. There’s always something to do, whether it’s checking on a late shipment or finally clearing out some old space in the back of the office. It’s not a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. Just some old desks, a lot of files, and a few of us trying to get the work finished before the day ends. We’ve known some of the people working around here for many years. You eventually get used to the rhythm of the street and the way business happens in this specific part of town. We don't really have a grand story to tell anyone, just that we show up, do the job, and go home to our families. The stairs can be a bit steep, but it keeps us moving and focused.
