Ifgl Refractory Ltd is located at 125/2/A Santoshpur Avenue in Kolkata. This part of the city is always moving, and our office is right in the middle of it. We work with refractory products, which are essential for industries like steel and glass. It’s a lot of technical stuff and managing heavy shipments. The office itself is pretty lived-in, with stacks of documents and samples of bricks and tiles lying around. We’ve been here in Kolkata for quite some time, so the building has seen better days, but it serves us well. We don’t have a team of people trying to sell you things with fancy words. We just talk about the specs and the delivery dates. The weather in Kolkata can be pretty rough, especially during the rains, which sometimes slows down the transport. We just deal with it as it happens. There is a lot of coordination involved in what we do, from the manufacturing side to the final delivery. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking emails to make sure the supply chain is moving. We aren't looking for awards or anything like that.
