Our place is out on Diamond Harbour Road, specifically at P.O. Pailan in the 24 Parganas district. It’s a big industrial stretch of road, so there’s always trucks and noise around. We’ve been operating from this location for many years now. The site itself is quite large, as you’d expect for this kind of industry. It’s not the easiest place to get to if you’re coming from the main part of the city, but the location works for what we do. The 24 Parganas area is where a lot of these bigger plants are. We have a lot of people working here, most of them from the surrounding villages and towns. It’s a tough job sometimes, working with the machinery and the heat, but it’s what we know. The office part is attached to the main works, so it gets a bit dusty. We don’t put on any airs here. It’s a place of work, plain and simple. You see the gates and the long wall along the road, that’s us. We focus on getting the orders out on time and keeping the equipment running. It’s a huge part of the local landscape. Dealing with logistics on Diamond Harbour Road can be a challenge with the traffic, but we’ve gotten used to it over the decades. Just a steady, local employer doing our part in the industry. We keep moving forward and doing the work that needs to be done.
