We are located at 98B, Dr. Suresh Chandra Banerjee Road. Gencon Interiors Llp is basically our small team working out of this space in Kolkata. We’ve been focusing on interior work for various clients for a few years now. The office is a practical place. We have our computers, some drawing boards, and a lot of material samples piled up in the corners. It’s not a showroom; it’s where we actually do the work. We spend a lot of time on the phone with contractors and checking on how things are going at different sites. The road outside can get pretty noisy, but we’re used to the bustle of the 700010 area. We don't use a lot of big words or try to act like we’re some huge international corporation. We’re just local people who know how to put a room together. Sometimes we stay late to finish a plan, and other times we’re out early to meet a delivery at a site. It’s a lot of coordination. We’ve learned that the most important thing is just showing up and doing what you said you’d do. We don't have a fancy mission statement. We just like making spaces look better and function well for the people who live or work in them. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-conversation about a project. It’s a busy life, but we like the tangible results of our work.
