We are up on the second floor of the Narayani Building at 27, Brabourne Road. If you come looking for us, we’re in Room No. 207. Brabourne Road is always packed with people and traffic, so it can be a bit of a challenge just getting into the building some days. Inside, it’s a bit quieter, but we stay busy. We deal with ispat, or steel, which is a tough business to be in. Our office isn't very large, so things are stacked pretty close together. We have desks, computers, and a lot of files. Most of our day is spent on the phone or working through documents. It’s not the kind of job where you get your hands dirty every minute, but it’s still hard work. We’ve been in this building for quite some time now and know most of the other people on this floor. There’s no corporate polish here, just regular people trying to make a living in the steel trade. We don't use fancy slogans to get customers. Usually, people find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been dealing with us for years. It’s a bit old-fashioned in some ways, but it works. We show up, handle the orders, deal with the logistics of moving steel around, and try to keep everything organized. It’s a solid, steady way to spend the day for us all here in the office.
