First Citizen

First Citizen is located inside the Park Mansion building at 57A Park Street. Our shop is number 34, and if you know the building, you know it has that old-fashioned feel that you only find in this part of the city. Park Street is always full of life, with people walking by at all hours and the smell of food from nearby restaurants drifting in when the door opens. The mansion itself has high ceilings and thick walls, which helps keep the noise of the street down a little bit once you are inside. Our shop space is a bit narrow, so we have to be careful about how we arrange things so people can move around comfortably. The wooden floorboards in some parts of the mansion have a bit of a creak to them, giving the place some character. We have been here at Shop 34 for quite a while, seeing the street change over the years as new businesses come and go. We mostly deal with people who are out for a walk or those who work in the offices nearby. It is a bit of a walk from the main entrance to find us, but most people who know the building find their way easily enough. We keep a small kettle in the back for tea because the afternoons can get long. It is just a regular shop in a very famous old building.
