Eezeegrow Hydroponics Private Limited is on the 1st floor at 1-A Burman Street. It’s a bit of an unusual spot for a farming company since Burman Street is so built up. We do hydroponics, which means growing things without soil. It’s a bit of a strange concept for some of the older folks in the neighborhood, but we make it work in our small space. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit steep, so you have to watch your step when you come visit. Inside, we have our setups and a lot of pipes and lights. It’s not like a traditional farm at all. We spend a lot of time checking water levels and making sure the nutrients are just right. There is always something to learn about how the water flows or why a certain batch is growing slower than the others. It’s a very quiet kind of work compared to the noisy street outside. We are just a small team trying to show that you can grow food even in a place like this. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy showroom. If you want to see what we do, you just come up to the office and we’ll show you the plants. It’s simple, honest work. Sometimes things leak or the power goes out, and we have to scramble to fix it, but that is part of the charm. We like being on Burman Street; it’s central and keeps us on our toes.
