Dilip Mukherjee

My name is Dilip Mukherjee and you can find me over at 19/C Nabalia Para Road. I’m right near Behala Chowrasta in Kolkata, which is a place that never really sleeps. I’ve lived and worked in this neighborhood for years, so I’m used to the noise and the constant movement. My workspace is pretty basic. I don’t have any interns or a big marketing budget to tell people about what I do. It is just me in a room with a laptop and a lot of notebooks. I like writing things down by hand because it helps me remember. The address on Nabalia Para Road is where I spend most of my waking hours. It’s a bit cramped with all the stuff I’ve collected over the years, but I know where everything is. Kolkata 700002 is home to me, and being near the Chowrasta makes it easy to get around when I need to. I try to stay focused on the tasks at hand, even when the street outside gets particularly loud. Sometimes I take a walk just to clear my head before getting back to the desk. There’s no big secret to how I run things. I just show up, do the work, and hope for a productive day. It is a very normal, local setup for anyone who knows this part of the city and likes how things used to be done.
