Dibyendu Khan

My name is Dibyendu Khan and you can find me at 39, M G Road, right near the corner of Amherst Street in Kolkata. This part of the city, with the 700009 pin code, is always full of life and movement. My workspace is situated in one of the older buildings that line the main road. It is a busy area, so there is always the sound of traffic and people talking just outside the door. Inside, I keep things very simple. I have a desk, some chairs for visitors, and shelves filled with various files and documents. The room isn't very large, but it’s enough for the work I handle every day. I’ve been at this address for a while now, so I know the local shopkeepers and the rickshaw pullers who wait nearby. The walls are a plain color and there aren't many decorations around. I prefer it that way so I can focus on my tasks. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit in the afternoon, but we just wait for it to come back on and keep going. Getting here is easy because M G Road is a major route, though it can get very crowded during peak hours. I usually spend my mornings sorting through paperwork and my afternoons meeting with anyone who drops by. It’s a very basic, honest way to work in the heart of Kolkata. No frills, just a regular place for regular business. It's home to my work.
