Dhar Metal

You can find Dhar Metal over at No. 16/1 Ns Road. This area is pretty much the heart of the hardware and metal trade in the city. The street is always packed with people carrying heavy loads or trucks trying to navigate the narrow spaces. Our place is basically a warehouse and a small office section. We deal with various kinds of metal, mostly bars and sheets that other businesses need for their own projects. It is a loud place. There is always the sound of metal clanging against metal or the grinding of a saw somewhere nearby. My clothes usually end up with some grease or rust on them by the end of the shift, but I don't mind it. We have a small scale for weighing everything, and the paperwork is usually done on an old wooden desk that has been here since the business started. We don't do much in the way of marketing. Most of our customers are regulars who have been buying from us for years. They know the quality of what we have in stock and how we operate. Sometimes we sit out front on the steps when things slow down, just watching the chaos of Ns Road go by. It is a tough business, but it is honest work. We just provide the materials and make sure the weights are right. That is really all there is to it for us.
