Our office is located at 8 Bentinck Street, right in the heart of a very busy part of town. It’s an older building with a lot of character, though the stairs can be a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up again. We handle steel and iron products, which is a pretty straightforward business when you get down to it. We aren't the type of company with a big, flashy showroom or a lot of corporate talk. Most of our time is spent on the phone talking to suppliers or checking on inventory levels. The street outside is always humming with activity, which we’ve grown to enjoy over the years. We started this because we knew the metal industry well and saw an opening to do things our own way. It’s mostly just us and a few desks piled with paperwork and metal samples. We don't have any big slogans or complex goals; we just want to make sure the orders are right and the deliveries happen when they should. If a shipment gets delayed, we’re the ones on the line trying to figure out why. It’s a lot of daily grind, but it’s what we know. Bentinck Street has seen a lot of businesses come and go, and we’re glad to still be here doing our thing every day. It’s a no-frills kind of life, and that suits us just fine.
