Bubna Commercial Company( A Tata Steel Distributor)

We run Bubna Commercial Company out of a flat in the Neo-Nine Co-Op Housing Society. It's located in Kalikapur Road, Kolkata, right in the 700099 area. Being a Tata Steel distributor means we spend a lot of our time dealing with orders and making sure the steel gets where it needs to go. The office is in Flat C1, so it feels more like a home than a cold business center. We deal with a lot of local builders and people doing their own house repairs. Kolkata is a busy city, and getting deliveries through the traffic is always a bit of a gamble. We’ve been at this for a while now. We aren't a giant corporation, just a distributor trying to keep things moving. Most of our day is spent on the phone or checking inventory lists. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit much, but that’s just how the steel business is. We handle the Tata products because people know the name and it saves us time explaining the quality. It’s a practical job. We don’t have a showroom or anything like that. Just the office in Kalikapur where we handle the commercial side of things. It is a simple business based on a lot of phone calls and spreadsheets.
