Operating out of West Bengal, we handle the regional side of things for Bhushn Power & Steel Ltd. Our focus is mainly on the Calcutta area and the surrounding districts. The steel industry in this part of India has a lot of history, and we are just another part of that long story. We don't have a polished office with glass walls or anything like that. It is more about the grit and the daily effort of managing power and steel supplies. The weather here can get pretty humid, which makes working in this sector a bit of a sweat, but you get used to it. We deal with various stakeholders and just try to keep the wheels turning. There isn't any big secret to how we work. We just show up and handle the logistics. Sometimes things go smooth, other times there are delays with transport or the power grid, but we just deal with it as it comes. It is a very hands-on kind of job. People in Bengal know that the industry is built on hard work rather than fancy words. We don't put out brochures or try to look bigger than we are. It’s just us, some desks, and a lot of talk about tonnages and megawatts. We have been around the local scene for long enough that people know where to find us when they need to talk steel. We just keep doing what we've always done. It's a living and it keeps the family going year after year without any fuss.
