Bhupendra Steel Corporation

We’re up on the 11th floor of 23-A, N.S. Road. Our office is Room-25. It’s one of those old buildings where the elevators can be a bit temperamental, so you might end up waiting a minute or two. Bhupendra Steel Corporation has been operating out of this space for a long while. From up here, you get a decent view of the street below, which is always packed with traffic and people. Our office isn't anything special to look at. We have a few desks, some tall filing cabinets, and a lot of old ledgers piled up. It feels a bit like stepping back in time compared to the newer glass offices downtown. We spend most of our day on the phone or dealing with the paperwork for steel orders. It's a quiet office for the most part, except when we have visitors dropping in for a chat. We’ve known the other tenants on this floor for years. We usually have lunch at our desks or go down to the small food stalls on the street level. The air conditioning works okay, but on really hot days, it struggles to keep up. We don’t have a receptionist or anything fancy. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just answers it. It’s a straightforward way of doing things, and it works for us. We’ve seen many businesses come and go here.
