Bhartia Industries Ltd.

Bhartia Industries Ltd. is based at 216 Acharya Jagadish Chandra Bose Road, specifically in Block IE. This part of the city is always moving at a fast pace, and being on AJC Bose Road means we are right in the thick of it. The building is one of those large commercial blocks where you see a lot of different businesses sharing the same space. Our office is a bit of a walk from the main entrance, but it’s a good way to wake up in the morning. Inside, it’s a standard setup with a reception area that usually has a few boxes waiting to be moved. We have a lot of shelf space filled with ledgers and old records because we’ve been around for many years. The lighting isn't the brightest, but we’ve all gotten used to it. On rainy days, the sound of the cars on the flyover nearby becomes a constant background drone. We have a small table in the back where we eat our lunch and talk about things other than work, like the football scores or local news. It’s a comfortable enough place to spend the day, even if it’s not the most modern office in Kolkata. The people who work here are a dedicated lot, and most of us have been sitting at the same desks for a long time. We value that sense of familiarity and the routine that comes with being here.
