You can find us at 75 Bazaz Mahal, which is right in the Sadar Bazar area of Barrackpore. We are listed as care of Tulsi Bhagat on the address. This is a very old part of the Kolkata region, and you can see it in the buildings and the narrow streets. Our place is part of the 24 Parganas North district. It is a busy, crowded market area where there is always someone shouting or a horn honking. We work with industrial rolls here. The building we are in has high ceilings and old wooden doors that creak when you open them. It feels like history is everywhere. We have some heavy machinery for our production, and it takes up most of the floor space. It’s not a modern factory with glass walls. It’s more of a traditional workshop where things are done the old-fashioned way. We’ve been here for years, and we know most of the other shop owners in the bazaar. Lunchtime usually involves someone bringing in tea from the stall around the corner. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. We just do the work and deliver it to whoever needs it. It gets very damp during the monsoon season, and we have to be careful with the metal, but we’ve learned how to manage over the years. The sound of the trains nearby is something you get used to after a while. It’s just home to us.
