Balaji Udyog

The market here on M.G. Road is always loud. We are located near Jorasanko Road, tucked into the CR Avenue area where there’s always a truck or a cart blocking the way. Balaji Udyog has been operating out of this spot for a long time. It’s a bit cramped inside because we try to fit as much stock as possible on the shelves. You have to watch your step when you walk in because there’s usually a stack of something near the entrance. We handle a lot of different items every day. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy on the front counter, but we know where everything is. The heat in the market during summer is something else, so we keep the fans running all day long. We aren't trying to be some big corporate firm; we just want to get through the day’s tasks. Most of our neighbors are doing the same thing, just trying to make a living in this busy part of the city. We open up early to beat the worst of the traffic, though that doesn't always work out. By the time evening rolls around, we’re usually ready to lock up and head home. It’s a busy life, but it suits us well enough. We don't have any fancy brochures, just our products and our word. We just try to keep things moving and make sure people get what they came for without too much hassle.
