B R Enterprise is located right in the middle of the chaos at Chandni Chawk Market. Our shop is number 10, at 167/5 Dharmatala Street. If you know Dharmatala, you know how busy it gets with people looking for all sorts of things. It’s loud and there is always something happening right outside our door. We’ve been in this market for quite some time now. The shop is small, so we have to use every bit of shelf space we have. Things are piled high, but there is a system to it all, even if it looks messy to someone else. Most of the day is spent talking to people who walk in or handling orders that come through. It gets hot in the afternoons, especially with the crowd outside, so we keep the fan on high. We don't have a big fancy sign or anything, just the one over the door. People usually find us by word of mouth or because they’ve been coming to this market for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around, just a reliable one where people can get what they need without a fuss. It is a lot of work keeping up with the inventory and the local pace, but we like being part of the market life. It feels real and grounded. We usually close up late and then head home through the same busy streets. Every day is a bit different, but the noise of the market is constant.
