Associated Steel & Engineering Works (Factory)

The factory for Associated Steel & Engineering Works is down at 48 Dum Dum Road in Motijhil. It’s a loud place, honestly. There is always the sound of metal hitting metal or machines humming in the background. We’ve been at this location for years, and the walls show the age of the place with all the grease and scuff marks. It’s not a showroom, so things are laid out for work rather than looking pretty. We have stacks of steel and various tools scattered across the floor, though we try to keep the walkways clear for safety. The guys here have been working these machines for a long time and they know exactly how each one sounds when it’s running right. It gets pretty hot in the summer months, especially when we have the heavy equipment going all day. We don’t have fancy air conditioning, just some big fans that move the air around a bit. People come to us when they need something specific made out of steel. We don’t have a marketing team or anything like that. Usually, people just show up at the gate with a drawing or an idea of what they need. It’s a grit and grime kind of job, but it’s what we know. We close up the gates in the evening and start it all over again the next day. It's just honest work with metal and we have been doing it a long time now.
