Aparna Biswas

My name is Aparna Biswas and I run things from my spot on B.T. Road. The address is 48/3G, which is right in the thick of things in Kolkata. It’s not a large operation, just me doing what I can from this location. Traffic on B.T. Road is always something else, so it stays pretty loud throughout the day. I’ve lived in this city for a long time and decided to set up here because it made sense at the time. The office is really just a room with a desk, a couple of chairs, and too many papers piled up on the corners. I try to keep it organized, but sometimes the week gets away from me. 700002 is a familiar neighborhood, and I’ve gotten used to the rhythm of the people moving around outside. I don’t use any fancy systems or have a bunch of staff helping out. It’s mostly just answering messages and checking on things as they come in. If you know the area, you know it’s a busy part of Kolkata. Sometimes I think about moving to a quieter street, but then I remember how convenient it is being right here. It’s a simple life and a simple way of working. No big speeches or goals, just getting through the to-do list every afternoon. That is pretty much the whole story of how I stay busy and keep my affairs in order.
