Ankan Debnath

You will find Ankan Debnath over at the ODRC, Govt. Housing Estate. We are located in Block-S/B, specifically in Room No-18. Being in a government housing estate gives the place a very specific feel. It is a lot of concrete and long hallways that all look the same. The room itself is basic. We have a few filing cabinets that have definitely seen better days and a desk that is crowded with notebooks and pens. It is not the kind of place you come to for a fancy experience. It is where the actual work gets done. There is always a bit of a shuffle in the corridors with people moving between different blocks. The light in the room comes from one big window that looks out over the estate grounds. It is often a bit noisy with people talking in the halls or doors slamming, but we do not mind it much. We do not use any fancy software to track every minute; we just use our heads and some paper. It is a very traditional way of working. Some people might find it a bit dull, but it suits us just fine. We are not here to impress anyone with a polished look. We just want to make sure the records are right and the day's work is finished. It is a quiet, steady kind of life here in Room 18. Ankan keeps things organized in his own way.
