Amco

Our place is S-35 in the Kasba Industrial Estate, Phase-I. It’s right near the E.M. By Pass, which is handy for getting around, though the traffic can be a real headache some days. Amco has been operating out of this unit for quite a while. Being in an industrial estate means there’s always a bit of noise—clanking, trucks idling, and people shouting across the lanes. It’s not the quietest spot, but it’s where the work gets done. The space inside is mostly open. We have high ceilings and some racks for storage. It’s a practical layout. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the middle of a task. The floor is concrete and shows the wear and tear of the years. We like it here because everything we need is in reach. The electricity can be a bit finicky during the storms, but we have a backup. We spend our days managing the floor and making sure the orders are lined up. There’s a small desk in the corner for the computer work, but most of the action happens out in the main area. It’s a bit dusty, as you’d expect in this part of town. We keep a cooler in the back for the staff. It’s just a hard-working spot. Amco is just us putting in the hours every day. We don't have anything fancy, just our tools and our desks.
